The Star Magnolia (I just found out that the correct name is a Jane Magnolia-check the comments) bloomed this week. From a distance it is hard to get a decent photo.
But when the camera moves in a little closer, oh my goodness....
Each bloom....
is like...
a piece of eye candy.

I've never heard it called a Star Magnolia. I've always heard it called a Jane Magnolia. Are there two different varieties?

Leah - I think you are right about the name. I googled it and the star magnolia is usually white. Thanks for info.
Cindy-I battled a sinus infection for over 2 weeks. I felt like someone had pulled the plug and drained every bit of energy out of my body. Hope you get better soon.
