My mom will have surgery tomorrow morning to remove a mass on her thyroid gland. The mass will be sent to pathology and within 10-15 minutes the surgeon will know if the mass is malignant or benign. Please remember my mom in your prayers. Pray that the surgery will go well and the mass will be benign. Thank you...
3/1/10 Update: Mom's surgery went well. The doctor only removed half of her thryroid and the initial pathology report indicated no cancer. They will send the mass to the Mayo Clinic just to be sure. She should come home tomorrow. I'm so thankful for friends who pray. You're the best!
