We're on Spring Break this week.

We started the break with an unplanned trip to the woods

A make shift grill and campfire next to a creek was the perfect spot.

Paint it Red

This past winter we tackled a few projects. Bob's main project was the "barn"/camper shed/new woodworking shop. He enclosed one side of the barn for his shop. Then he was ready to paint.

The safe choice was to match the house. But...

I happened to be on Pinterest and came across several pictures of red barns and snow....a dangerous combination.

I suggested he paint the new building red.

He liked my suggestion and we could not be more pleased with the results.

Wrestling

Zach and Adam were both members of the first ever wrestling team. Bob was the coach.

This week finishes the season for us. It has been fun. Starting a team from the ground up is a lot of work. We had to coordinate everything......gate duty, concessions stands, fundraisers, meets, and a tournament.

We are all just a wee bit tired and ready for a break. The boys went straight from football into wrestling. I think they, along with Bob, are looking forward to coming straight home from school and not doing anything for awhile.

Yes....we are Hillbillies :)
